1. Description

The Calorex Pro-Pac Extended Season range of heat pumps will work down to -15c and designed to heat pools all year round and for indoor pool use

Calorex units are built to last and have been supplied to the swimming pool industry for decades. Thousands of Calorex units have been successfully operating in some thirty countries. The choice of materials for the components is aimed at a long reliable life.

The cabinets are steel, first galvanised and then coated to provide resilient protection against external elements. Pool water
heat exchangers are of high quality to ensure maximum resistance to pool chemical corrosion.

All models now include a titanium heat exchanger with a five year warranty, plus digital controls.

Each unit is thoroughly tested and inspected and must meet a precise performance standard before leaving the factory. The
Calorex factory and products are approved to several internationally accepted standards of quality and safety.

All Calorex equipment is fully guaranteed and dispatched complete with comprehensive instructions.

To help with electrical demands, ‘soft- starts’ can be fitted (if necessary) to any of the units as an optional extra. This reduces the initial electrical current surge associated with compressors. Advice from an electrician may be needed prior to installation.

Many factors can affect the sizing of a heat pump for your pool. You are therefore strongly advised to contact us to get an accurate sizing recommendation for your particular pool.

6. Installation

The Calorex Swimming Pool Heat Pump is designed intelligently and exceptionally compact for ease of installation. One of the simple but handy design additions on the Calorex Heat Pump is the integrated flow switch which will sense the water flow and automatically start the heater when the pool pump starts and stop it when the pump shuts off. Simple, but very handy. We can also offer an installation service if required.

We recommend that a bypass is installed to allow the heat pump to be drained in winter if not in use. We sell bypass kits if required.

7. Warranty

All Calorex Pro-Pac Commercial heat pumps come with the following warranty:-

• 1-years in site parts and labour warranty on all components in the UK
• 1-years parts only warranty on all components in Europe
• Warranty subject to the unit being installed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
