Digital Swimming Pool Water Flow Thermometer

Description

Digital water flow thermometer.

These LCD digital thermometers have a metal temperature probe on the end of a 1metre long wire.

The probe can simply be dropped into water to measure the pool or pond water temperature.

They can also be used to measure indoor or outdoor air temperature.

In order to measure the temperatrure of the water in a pipe, a small hole can be drilled into one of your pool pipes and the probe glued into place.

The thermometers can then be used to show the flow and return temperatures from your heat pump.

By viewing the flow and return temperatures, you can see that your heat pump is heating the pool water and by what amount.

The flow temperature also shows the water temperature in your pool which is a convenient way to see your pool temperature.

Units can be mounted in a wooden panel as per the example below (panel not supplied)

Uses 

These thermometers can be used for many applications including measuring :-

• Pool water temperature – just dangle the probe into the pool water
• Pond temperature -just dangle the probe into the pond wate
• Air temperature
• The temperature of any liquid – just dangle the probe into the liquid
• Fridge or feezer temperature
• etc..

Waterproofing

Please note that the body of the thermometer is not waterproof and so needs to be protected from rain etc.

The probe and cable are waterproof and can be dangled into water
