Elecro Quantum Mini UV is a brand new technology to the swimming pool industry with the benefit of being used and approved by high-profile industries such as hospitals and drinking water purification companies.
Quantum uses new Nano Crystal technology: a prime focus of the science world today; possessing the power to sterilise sewerage into drinking water without the use of chemicals. In fact, one of the many benefits of Quantum is a significant reduction of residual chemicals such as chlorine or hydrogen peroxide.
Built to be installed easily into your existing set-up, the Quantum is completely safe and significantly more powerful than chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, UV or ozone. Photocatalytic Oxidisation has an immensely powerful effect with the ability to instantaneously destroy viruses, bacteria and pathogens, and more astoundingly possessing the ability to convert sun tan oil, urea and other contaminants back into their harmless molecular form.

Installation is straightforward. We can provide advice on installing your UV system. We can also offer an installation service if required.
NOTE:Â When mounting the UV, it is essential to leave a clearance space of at least 1 metre from one side of the unit to allow access to replace the lamp(s) and/or quartz sleeve(s) when required. Both the lamps and the quartz sleeve can be replaced from either end of the unit; if installing vertically the 1m clearance space must be above or below the unit, if installing horizontally the 1m clearance space must be to the left or right of the unit.
WARNING:Â The unit must be installed within a dry, permanent weather-proof area. In any case, where water or moisture enters the enclosure, the warranty will be void.
Caution: If the unit is unused during the winter months, it must be drained to prevent frost damage. Water must not be allowed to freeze inside the unit as this will cause severe damage.
