HeatPumps4Pools are acting as a broker to sell a second hand Heatstar Orion 100 Super Plus unit on behalf of its owner.

The Heatstar Orion is designed for indoor pools and is “an all in one” type unit.

It provides pool water heating, air heating,fresh air Introduction  and dehumidification from one combined unit.

Purchased in Aug 2010

Pool size it was used for was 28m2 approx

Pool hall volume = 60m3

The unit is located at Breighton, Selby postcode YO8 6DH

It is being sold due to the pool being closed down

The Orion uses a heat pump to dehumidify the pool room air and recover heat from it.

It does not comply with the current building regulations and so can not be used for new pools.

It requires a boiler as a heat source for the air heating and pool water heating.

The unit can provide dehumidification of around 4.1 litres/hr and can output 18kw of heat into the pool room air.

The heat exchanger provides about 17kw of heat to the pool water and it needs a boiler of around 11kw

It can supply 15kw of heat to the pool hall air

It is in excellent condition and can be inspected before purchase

There is a 22mm copper connection for the hot water supply from the external boiler (not supplied).

Pump and filters are available too with this product, together with the required removed plastic piping and silver ducting.
