HeatPumps4Pools are acting as a broker to sell a second hand Calorex Delta 4 all in one unit on behalf of its owner.

The Calorex Delta 4 is designed for indoor pools and is “an all in one” type unit.

It provides pool water heating, air heating and dehumidification from one combined unit.

Purchased in 2010 – the unit is around 6 yrs old

Pool size it was used for was 10 metres by 5 meters x 2m deep (uncovered pool)

Pool hall volume was approx 350 m3

The pool room was 7m wide, 14m long and 5m tall
 

The unit is located at Trowbridge, Wiltshire

It is being sold due to the pool being closed down by the owner

The Delta provides Heat recovery and dehumidification system designed for indoor pools comprising:

• Heat recovery dehumidifier
• LPHW pool air heater battery
• LPHW pool water calorifier
• Complete pool hall environmental control panel
• Control of pool air temperature & humidity
• Control of pool water temperature
• Heat energy recovered to both pool water & pool air
• Mechanical pool air cooling capacity with energy recovery to pool
• All sensors and controllers in the unit cabinet
• Cabinet fully insulated

This unit does not comply with the current building regulations and so cannot be used for new pools but can be used for upgrades or replacements in existing pools

It requires a boiler as a heat source for the air heating and pool water heating.

The boiler would need to be about 35 kw

The Delta is designed to be connected to pool ducting

The unit has 1.5″ pipe connections

It has full digital controls.

The dimensions are 1970mm high x 1840mm wide x 704mm deep and it weighs approx 350 kg

This is a single phase unit and needs a 30A supply/breaker

There is a 22mm copper connection for the hot water supply from the external boiler (boiler not supplied).

It was used to heat a pool of 10 x 5m x 2m deep (uncovered)

It is in excellent condition and can be inspected before purchase.

It has been serviced every year

It can be collected, or the seller can deliver it on a trailer for a fee (to be agreed)
