With integrated Wi-Fi control, advanced safety protection systems, and a titanium heat exchanger, the Thermotec Apex is ideal for residential swimming pools requiring efficient, year-round temperature control. The unit uses R32 refrigerant and is designed for outdoor installation only. For greater control over performance and energy consumption, the heat pump offers two output settings. In Power Mode, the models deliver up to 8kW and 11kW of heating output, while Normal Mode reduces the output to 5kW and 8kW for more economical day-to-day operation.

The power cable must be suitable for outdoor use and sized appropriately for the installation distance and electrical load.

Standard 50mm water connections. Designed for installation with rigid PVC pipework.
Recommended water flow:

For optimal performance:
- Maximum recommended pipe distance between pool and heat pump is 10 metres.

We recommend that a bypass is installed to allow the heat pump to be drained in winter if not in use. We sell bypass kits if required.

14. Warranty on the Thermotec Apex Inverter Vertical Heat Pump.
The Thermotec Apex heat pump come with a 3-year warranty on all components and 5-year warranty on the compressor and heat exchanger:-
- 3-year parts and labour warranty on all components.
- 5-year warranty on the compressor and heat exchanger.
- Europe and Outside the UK: Warranty is parts only warranty or return to us in the UK (customer pays transport cost). If spare parts are required, they will be sent free of charge to a UK address. If they are to be shipped outside the UK, the customer pays the international shipping cost.
We recommend that you retain the pallet and packaging that the heat pump was delivered with in case you need to return the unit to us for repairs under the warranty.
The warranty will not apply where the heat pump has been installed incorrectly, or has been damaged by freezing.
