Built from high-quality materials, the Arctic Barrel is more than just an ice bath, it’s a striking centerpiece that supports recovery, health, and relaxation.
2. Features of the Winthera Arctic Ice Barrel
- Efficient Setup and Maintenance – The Arctic Barrel is easy to set up, drain, and maintain with its simple filtration system.
- Spacious Design for Comfort – With a 100 x 70 x 90 cm interior, the Arctic Barrel comfortably fits users over 2 meters tall for a relaxing ice bath.
- Mobile App Control – Paired with the Ice Master Chiller, the Arctic Barrel can be controlled via a mobile app, allowing convenient scheduling for your ice baths.
- Ice Making Mode – Connected to the Ice Master Chiller, the Arctic Barrel can form surface ice for an authentic ice bath experience.
- Cooling and Heating Modes – The Ice Master Chiller is the only model offering both cooling and heating, ranging from 0°C to 42°C for cold or heat therapy.
- Authentic Nordic Design – With cedar cladding and a classic barrel design, the Arctic Barrel blends Nordic style with powerful recovery benefits.

3. Installation Requirements
- Location & surface: Install on a stable, level, water-resistant base, ideally under shelter if outdoors.
- Drainage provision: Requires drainage via ½” valve to a nearby drain or hose runoff.
- Water supply: Manual fill only, no plumbing connection needed.
- Cooling system: No built-in cooling, optional external chiller or use ice manually.
- Electrical: No power needed unless using a chiller (then 220–240V supply required).
- Space requirements: Allow space for unit footprint plus access and optional chiller.
- Setup time & complexity: Quick install (~15 minutes) with minimal setup steps.

5. Warranty on the Winthera Arctic Ice Barrel
The Winthera Arctic Ice Barrel come with a 2-year warranty.
We recommend that you retain the pallet and packaging that the ice bath was delivered with in case you need to return the unit to us for repairs under the warranty.
The warranty will not apply where the ice bath has been installed incorrectly, or has been damaged.
